Skin Camouflage is a non-permanent colour-matching process which uses specially formulated products to blend tattoos, scarring and the visible effects of many skin conditions with the natural colours of the surrounding areas.
Skin Camouflage can be used on any skin tone and on a wide range of marks, skin conditions and scarring.
Just a few of these conditions include vitiligo, rosacea, healed burns, birth-marks, bruises and scarring including self-harm and post-surgical scars.
It is important to note that skin camouflage is not permanent. It is, however, water resistant and will last for many hours. It is easy to apply and remove and can be used daily if desired.
Camouflage products can only be used if the skin to be covered is completely healed with no open areas. In some cases a doctor's referral may be required.
Camouflage products are applied to blend and match the colour of an area and cannot alter the texture or raised areas of scarring but, with the right products and process, a significant difference can be made to the appearance of an area.
I offer a tattoo cover service using very similar skin camouflage techniques and considerations to those above. This service will enable repeatable coverage of both monochrome and full-colour tattoos of virtually any size.

At this stage we meet for an hour-long consultation and carefully match the product and colour to the desired area, making sure that you're completely happy with the result.
Each consultation is for a single area of camouflage and, although I'll guide you throughout, the final decision regarding colour, texture and product will always be yours.
Next we have an application consultation, during which I'll train you in the techniques you'll need to apply the products we selected together at the colour-match stage.
This step ensures you're prepared and completely confident to apply coverage independently, whenever you wish.
